Red Barn Boutique in Bellport Village has moved right around the corner to 146 South Country Road.

Owners Shea Rosario, 43, and Jessica Fauci, 41, are class moms turned best friends who originally opened Red Barn Boutique in July at 13 Bellport Lane.

Rosario, a Central Islip native who now lives in East Patchogue, and Fauci, who grew up in East Islip and now lives in Brookhaven, said they always wanted to open a store in Bellport Village.

The duo immediately fell in love with the original location of their store on Bellport Lane, Fauci said, but as more inventory came in, they realized they needed a bigger space.

Once they saw a larger space was available on South Country Road, they jumped on it and reopened Red Barn on Nov. 6.

“We were bursting out of space at our old location,” Rosario said. “We couldn’t even believe how busy it got and how well we did over there, and then this space became available and it was just a no-brainer.”

The new Red Barn space is triple the square footage of the old one, and Fauci says they have a lot more room to add products they couldn’t before, like jewelry, custom furniture, and seasonal items.

Rosario says the new space also allows them to start offering shopping parties, which gives customers a chance to reserve a private shopping experience after hours with friends.

“It’s a private shopping experience just for them, and they can bring friends and snacks or whatever they want,” Rosario said. “It’s so much fun and we have giveaways and give out coupons during those nights.”

Rosario says they plan to do more of these ladies nights around Valentine’s Day.

“We are blown away by the support we’ve been getting not just from our community, but people from all over,” Rosario said. “We just absolutely love it.”

a little history

The name of the boutique is a nod to an actual red barn that was in Rosario’s backyard.

It was where they started their business selling custom signs and furniture. After some time, Fauci and Rosario decided they wanted to branch out and start offering modern farmhouse décor.
