Gamblers are a Long Island band receiving global attention with their newly released album Small World.
The album has been streamed over 350,000 times on Spotify. The singles have racked up over a half a million views on YouTube. Their CDs and vinyl are also available in retailers across the U.S., Europe and Japan.
Gamblers are from the South Shore of Long Island with members from Massapequa, Sound Beach and Patchogue.
Gamblers have always been aware of the ever-looming influence of the NYC music scene, but they are proud to present their talents as Long Island natives.
The band never got to do a release show due to the restrictive conditions of the pandemic, so they decided to go virtual with a live performance at Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts.
“Play for the Ghost Light,” as the performance is called, will feature tracks from their new album and will serve as a theatre fundraiser.
The event will be premiering on New Year’s Eve at 8 p.m.
Look for the donation links to help raise funds for the theatre, which has been heavily impacted by the pandemic.
