Patchogue’s Blue Goose restaurant opens back up for business this Thursday, June 4, for takeout.

Blue Goose first opened in September 2018 in the former KB’s Burger Shack location at 411 West Main Street, at the edge of the village.

The restaurant temporarily closed in March due to coronavirus containment measures enacted by New York State.

Owner Brian Kearns said he didn’t offer takeout through the height of the crisis due to health concerns.

“I thought was better to remain closed,” he said. “I believe now is the time to reopen as we get into Phase 2 and Phase 3, this way we are prepared to handle the new challenges that are being thrown at us.”

The new hours will be Wednesday through Sunday, from 3 to 8 p.m.
