Grand Marshal

This year’s parade Grand Marshal is Dennis Smith.

That honor will be officially bestowed upon Smith at the annual Passing of the Sash, which happens Sunday, Feb. 23, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Fulton’s Gate Irish Pub on East Main Street.

Smith runs the Patchogue Business Improvement District, and serves the village as its special projects coordinator. He has been overseeing Patchogue’s much-applauded, village-wide parks overhaul.
