The highly anticipated opening of Bird & Bao is upon us.

Patchogue’s only Asian pork and chicken bun takeout spot held soft openings for friends and family this past weekend.

It opens fully to the public on Tuesday, Nov. 19. The hours are Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 9 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.

Bird & Bao owner Conor Swanson, a longtime NYC chef, started building out the space at 58 South Ocean Avenue early this year next to Duke’s Dogs.

“There’s nothing really like this out here,” Swanson previously told GreaterPatchogue. “It’s something different from the bar food.”
