It’s a family affair at Locale Gastro Bar & Pizzette, an Old World-style Italian restaurant in Patchogue that boasts a very New World Vibe.

And patriarch Fabrizio Castelli, a Sicilian immigrant whose family has run restaurants for over a century, knows Locale is in good hands with his children at the helm.

Guiseppe’s culinary skills, Ariana’s managerial expertise and Fransesco’s bolognese and pizzette-making talents “bring us together as a whole,” Castelli tells Greater Long Island TV.

The 4,700-square-foot gem of a restaurant opened at 15 West Main Street in March of 2017, in the New Village complex.

As Castelli tells it, the hope is that everyone who visits Locale, or the Castelli Primo Piatto in Huntington, is made to feel like family.

“We look at this as an extension of our home,” he says.
