The first-ever Hispanic Heritage Celebration at Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts was a resounding success. And we have the pictures to prove it.

Lead organizer Javier Kinghorn, the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce’s Latino Leadership Council chair, lined up over 50 Latino acts for the showcase event, which was sold out.

“We’re just scratching the surface of what we’re going to do,” the chamber’s executive director, David Kennedy, said of the council. “Javier is he knows this community, he loves this community, and he’s from this community. He’s the perfect person to run something like this.”
