There’s no more waiting for Christian Guardino‘s first-ever music video.
On Wednesday, the America’s Got Talent golden buzzer winner released the video for his first-ever originally written song “Waiting.”
The nearly 4-minute video was directed and produced by Patchogue-based filmmaker Benny Migliorino, of Benny Migs Photo.
It was filmed entirely in Guardino and Migliorino hometown, showcasing local spots like Bean Coffeehouse, Donatina Neapolitan Pizza Cafe, Shorefront Park, and 89 North.
“Everyone from the area is going to notice all the places; I’m so excited for everyone to see it,” Guardino told GreaterPatchogue prior to the release.
The video follows a group of friends spending a day together, with two of the friends falling for each other along the way.
Guardino said he wanted to create a song that many people can relate to.
“It’s about meeting someone, really liking them, but not knowing if it would work out,” the singer explained.
The song has been a hit since he released in March, garnering nearly 70,000 plays on Spotify.
The music was produced by award-winning musician Hunter Hayes. “It was really exciting to work with him; he’s an incredible talent,” said Guardino.
There’s even a clip of Hayes and Guardino working together in the studio at the tail end of the video.
