The annual Village of Patchogue Christmas Parade, postponed due to rain this past Saturday, is now set for this Friday, Nov. 30, at 6:30 p.m., according to an announcement issued Monday by local officials.

The parade runs along Main Street in the village, from West Avenue to Rider Avenue. Main Street will close at 5 p.m. on Friday from River Avenue to Route 112.

The parade, which is run by Patchogue’s Department of Parks and Recreation, typically draws tens of thousand of people to the downtown.
