Patchogue was once known as the largest shopping center in Suffolk County.

Despite a downturn in brick-and-mortar retail across the U.S., the village has retained shops that date to the 1950s, even a century ago.

Now, the Patchogue Business Improvement District, Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce and the Village of Patchogue want everyone to know:

Patchogue is open for business.

And the retail environment is experiencing a renaissance.

In the past three years, over a dozen new retailers have opened up in Patchogue.

Watch the above video, funded by the Patchogue BID, to learn more about the village’s past, present and future in retail.
