Police Update: Missing Bellport teenager Alexandra Irace has been located unharmed.

Original Alert: The Suffolk County Police Department is asking for the public’s help in located a missing Bellport teenager “who suffers from depression and bipolar disorder,” according to a Silver Alert issued on Friday.

Alexandra Irace, 16, (pictured above) left her Bellport home on Wednesday, Sept. 19, telling family she was going to Smith Haven Mall with friends, police said.

She hasn’t been seen since.

Irace’s cell phone was last tracked to the mall at approximately 3 p.m. that day.

Irace is described as 5-foot-1, approximately 150 pounds, with brown curly hair, brown eyes and piercings in her bottom lip.

She was wearing a white tank top, black shorts, green high top sneakers and carrying a black and gray backpack. She could also be wearing a purple Bellport hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts should immediately call 911 or the Fifth Squad at 631-854-8552.
Silver Alert is a program implemented in Suffolk County that allows local law enforcement to share information with media outlets about individuals with special needs who have been reported missing.
