From the Village of Patchogue

Patchogue Village will be dedicating the recently finished 9-11 Memorial Park on Tuesday, Sept. 11 at 11 a.m. The park is located on Maiden Lane at the end of Cedar Avenue and fronts the Great South Bay.

The dedication ceremony will last about a half hour, and is open to all who wish to attend.

This memorial park was developed as a result of the $5 million donation the village received in 2015 from an anonymous benefactor. It honors the three local residents who perished on Sept. 11, 2001, as well as all who were lost on that day.
