Axis Church‘s fourth annual Easter Egg Hunt drew hundreds to the Medford Athletic Complex on Saturday.

Each year the church uses the hunt to help raise money for local nonprofits.

“This year we are making kits to help benefit veterans,” said Axis Church’s children’s pastor, the Rev. Kara Bocchino.

Some of the charities on hand included Supportive Services for Veteran Families and the PFC Joseph Dwyer Veterans Peer Support Project.

In addition to the hunt, there was a football pass, catch, and kick competition, among other family-fun activities. And, there was plenty of food.

The event was also the debut for the brand-new gourmet grilled cheese food truck called Cheese Kings.
